Build the Business That Loves You Back Book

I’ve been working on something really exciting behind the scenes, and I can finally share it with you… I wrote a book!!

It’s called Build the Business That Loves You Back: The PEACE Strategy—A Clear Path to Profits, Boundaries, and Ease for Women Balancing a Lot and Building What Matters.

Inside, I walk you through my signature PEACE Strategy and show you how to use it to build a sustainable, profitable business that actually supports your life.

I’m thrilled to say the first & second round of edits are officially done, and we’re almost finished finalizing the cover. This book has been on my heart for a long time, and I can’t wait to share it with you soon.

One of the most important concepts I unpack in the book is the idea of finding your ‘enough’.

Because so often, women in business are told to chase more. More revenue, more clients, more growth. But what if more isn’t the answer? What if you could design your business around what you truly want AND thrive because of it?

Let’s dig into what ‘enough’ really means, how to define it for yourself, and why anchoring your business to your vision is the most sustainable path to growth.

Redefining Enough (and Why It Matters)

Here’s an excerpt from Chapter 12 of the book:

When I ask women how much money they want to make, the first answer is often, “A million dollars.” My next question? “Why?” That’s when the conversation gets quiet.

Wanting a million is fine, you should dream big! But let’s be honest: Do you have a plan for that money? Are you ready to lead at that level?

What we really need to define first is your enough. Not based on cultural narratives. Not based on comparison. Based on you.

This concept has become a cornerstone of how I teach business growth. Because when we anchor our strategies to our actual desires—not someone else’s version of success—we stop chasing and start designing.

When I first launched KC Virtual Bookkeeping, enough looked like $2,000/month and the ability to stay home with my son. That was perfect for that season. Today, my ‘enough’ looks different AND it should. Growth is allowed. So is simplicity.

I’ve had clients come to me chasing six figures or bigger launches because they thought they “should.” But when we walk through their values—how they want to live, what they want to earn, what kind of time they want to have—more often than not, their actual ‘enough’ is simpler.

And when they honor that? They grow faster and with more joy.

So, What’s Your Enough?

Here are a few questions I walk readers through in the book and you can start reflecting on them right now:

  • What does my rich life actually look like?
  • What am I spending on each month?
  • What am I saving for?
  • What do I splurge on with joy?
  • How do I give or invest?
  • What’s my time worth?

Answering these questions help you put a number to your ‘enough’—not someone else’s dream, but yours. That number becomes your anchor. It helps you say yes with confidence and no without guilt.
